Sea Moss is a naturally growing algae harvested form the pristine oceans of Saint Lucia. Seamoss regenerates and cleases the cells in the body. It contains vitamins A, C, E, K, B1, and B12. This superfood contains a high content of iodine, calcium, manganese, zinc, bromine, iron and protein. Considerable amounts of magnesium and sodium phosphates can be traced. Sea Moss is low in fat and has a few calories, making it ideal for bodybuilders or those who are fasting. It's a healthy alternative to over the counter vitamin and mineral supplements because it is a rich source of vegetable protein, which provides a full spectrum of beta-carotene, chlorophyll, enzymes, amino acids, and fiber.
How to make Sea Moss Gel
- Rinse Sea Moss with spring water to remove any particles still on it
- Place the desired amount of rinsed Sea Moss into a jar or bowl of room temperature spring water, and soak for at least 24 hours. Make sure all of the Sea Moss is covered in water!
- Once the Sea Moss has swelled up, remove it from the water it soaked in and blend it with fresh spring water to make a gel. The thickness of the Sea Moss depends on how much water you used to soak it and blend it.
